Help with the message "Fan error" on the Optoma?
I have a Optoma EP747 DLP and worked very well for several months. We went to recently switched on (used in my home as my TV) and on, and then the message "Fan fail off" appears, and turns off. I can listen to the fan to cool the lamp light, as it goes, I do not know if there is another fan. I have not opened to check yet. And I realize that I can call for assistance but on Sunday today, and dealing with a company that I can not take it to a local store that has to send makes a big hassle. The powder would make sense is that we had a leak and had to R & A portion of the roof (which consists of sand).
that used to have a similar problem with our lighting systems high-end fans … usually there is a sensor that palette appears somewhere in the flow of air … what sometimes happens is that dust and lint can collect and prevent movement. a very soft powder with a soft brush or compressed air was our solution. on some computers that use other types of fan sensor reading of current flow .. them, sorry to say that they need professional diagnosis to fix it.
