Is age of the projector or the hours on the bulb?
So what I'm asking is whether the age of the projector does matter, or is the age of lamp inside her? I just bought a Hitachi CP-S225 Multimedia Projector eBay. Comes with a brand new bulb. As also the fact that the projector itself is a couple of years make a difference? Thanks, Kris
It is of the bulb. That Hitachi is rated at 1100 lumens, which is not the brightest in the market, but is damn near overkill for home use. My company uses a minimum of 2500 lumens, but that is for use in theaters. 1100 lumens is really good for home use. A new bulb is a real good thing too. A new outbreak of this type is sold for just over $ 150. If you look hard enough you can find more cheap, maybe $ 99, but not cheap at all. Not the kind of thing you want to fall asleep and leave overnight. One last thing … Hitachi is a registered trademark very good in that line of devices. db
