projector screen turned white.?

I had an HD color projector (NEC LT265) for about 3 years and suddenly turned to black and white color. Is this a problem with the bulb of the lamp (although a 30% bulb life left), or is it a problem with the projector, because I do not want a new bulb and have the same problem.? or is it something else? ?????????

1, verify that the image is in black and white more than one source. Try cable / satellite box and your DVD player. If you give the color, the problem is with the other (or its wiring), and not the projector. 2, if B & W image in all sources, see the projector's menu. Go to the video controls and make sure your "color" was not accidentally scratch. 3rd, if you are using Component video projector, make sure the red and blue wires are connected. Green only give black and white. 4th, if none of the above work, you have an internal problem with the projector. color information (chromanance) and brightness information (luminance) are processed separately within the unit and some have gone wrong in the circuit chromanance. You need the help of a professional. Hope this helps! Edit: Sorry, a lamp can not cause this symptom.
