What is the average lifespan of a LCD Sony Bravia TV?

I have a Panasonic rear projection 60 "TV is about to die from the lamp. I've had it replaced twice, but I do not want to keep paying and paying for the work that is $ 350. My plan is to buy a Sony Bravia LCD TV, but my question is, how long they last and are good?
