test pattern that I can use to calibrate and white degamma a peak in my Dlp Projector?
I have an Optoma DX605 DLP projector. I've calibrated brightness contrast, sharpness, saturation and hue with the AVIA home theater test basic patterns. However, there are two options Degamma and white peaking, but I do not know what pattern test to calibrate these against.
You will need a test pattern with a gray scale in at least 10 steps. You need to ensure that their colors are "tracking" (all steps neutral gray eyes). HDNet broadcasts a test pattern HDTV includes a gray scale. Also can obtain proof of DVDs (Digital Video Essentials or AVIA Guide to Home Theater home) that have these patterns. Ideally, both, because HD color coding is not the same as SD.
