Will projector still in power if the bulb is bad?

…. I have an infocus lp340 I Thought there is still time left on the lamp, but yesterday out of nowhere just stop working. I was going to buy a new lamp, but the entire unit will not turn on at all not sure if I should. Does anyone know if the unit is still active but the lamp is bad? Does anyone know if that is cvould the bulb, or my system, possibly, burn? Does anyone know if there is a built in fuse or circuit breaker?

I lost several years bulbs in different projectors 3 and 3 all started before the end of dark completely, but I never had a bulb to make the PJ will not start. Check the switch that is driving and also try to disconnect the pj for 30 seconds and then reconnect in. If that fails, then it might be a bad power supply and a call to InFocus is in order. weeder
